“I liked that it wasnt huge but it would have been nice to have the pools set up. You could tell they hadnt been cleaned for the season. We also liked the tall ceilings and huge doors.”

“The room was smaller than it looked online. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Room had a musty smell.”

“The staff at Anastasia Inn are fantastic! Whenever our family comes to St. Augustine we always stay there, more than 20 years. Recently we forgot some clothing in one of the closets. I called and described the items. I received a call back that they had the items in their lost and found. I was so grateful. Also, the inn is clean and I find they are my halfway point to attractions in town and the beaches.”

“the hotel is in an excellent location, one block from the beach. It.s a new building. plenty of parking. the bedroom and bathroom were clean. the ac was working fine. the price was very affordable for the location.”

“Not the best place I’ve ever stayed but not the worst. Could definitely use some deep cleaning and a remodel. Our room had an odd and very distinct smell, and there was an envelope in the room welcoming someone by a different name than us. Overall, it was a decent place to stay for cheap for a night, but definitely not the kind of place to stay for a full on vacation.”

“Excellent stay. Seem to have a lot of visitors from the Northeast that were very disrespectful to the property and the employees. That was the only disappointment. I guess it's just what you expect from these people.”

“It was clean but no towels at the pool..but my biggest complaint is after paying 185.00 for a one night stay they charge 15.00 plus tax to park your vehicle! 😳..”

“The location was great. The decor inside the hotel was great. The made-to-order breakfast was wonderful. Most of the staff was great. The covered parking was nice. The entrance is on the side of the building which was not easily visible at night. The bathroom towel rod was rusty and the drain in the shower was lower than the shower floor which made the floor uneven. The TV service was very slow. There was no dinner option at the restaurant as advertised.”

“It was a very quiet clean well equipped room. Location was excellent. There is a nice wooded area to connect with nature & walk my service dog. The man at the reception desk was very helpful, friendly &. welcoming. Some of the women at the front desk were not so friendly but did their job. The maintenance man was very helpful & professional. The house keeping lady also was very kind & accommodating. I did have a problem with the laundry. It was very dark with no light. I was trying……

“I went down over memorial Day weekend. The location is very good if you want to go into town or go to the beach you're kind of in between. Easy to get to. The issue is with the towels and the room. We're only given two towels, and they were thin as paper and as scratchy as glass on sandpaper. The air conditioner was very loud and to make the room comfortable it had to be set very low. The TV remote control was just basically a pain in the ass. And the TV was poor quality .”

“I always stay in Hampton Inn in Florida, this one was a little disappointing, the room wasn’t clean, the carpet was dirty and felt sticky and dirty. The property is not well maintained, they can do better, Hampton Inn usually has a much better standards, I felt like it was a cheap hotel / motel, didn’t like it this time. Hampton Inn / Hilton can do better. The staff was friendly, but the room really need to be updated and clean.”
