“Was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean and all around amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early - no hassles. Free airport shuttle. Would stay here again ”

“The room itself was nice and had a great see view. The hotel is advertised as two connected properties with spa amenities but in reality they are pretty disjointed and quite a bit of walk from each other. The spa reservation system is not great because there is no online way to reserve a massage and one needs to go to a remote reception spot to reserve it between 10 am and 7 pm (which is prime time NOT to be at the hotel). So we ended up skipping it because of that and also the prices were……

“Très bien situé face à l'océan, notre chambre bénéficiait d'un balcon avec vue imprenable.. Le calme certainement dû à notre présence en basse saison, nous a permis de savourer le statu "adults only" de l'établissement.”

“Large clean room, short on electrical outlets but given an extension cord with multiple outlets at front desk which served the purpose. Comfortable beds. View of mountain towards airport and ocean, could hear the planes take off but didn’t impact our sleep much. Great daily room cleaning with friendly staff. Nice large breakfast buffet with basic selections which should cover varying food preferences. Good location, beach, water sports, restaurants and bars, bus stop close by, trails, etc..……

“Good location if you have a car. Lovely staff, great pool with steamroom and sauna. Breakfast is really good and plentiful! Not too many reatautant options in the area, but like I said, if you have a car it's great.”

“What a lovely location although there are multiple suites and rooms, from the majority of vistas they are all nestled within the land and discrete. There were issues with the room but we were kindly offered alternatives. Breakfast was included and you couldn't eat enough. The grounds were impressively level given the graduated levels of Maderia's landscape.”

“The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. ”

“Für 600€ pro Nacht eher enttäuschend, und dies war schon der reduzierte Preis. Für die Nutzung von Sauna und Wellness Bereich sollten wir extra bezahlen. Die Minibar war nicht gefüllt. Die Kosmetikartikel waren nicht aufgefüllt (Duschgel usw.). Wir mussten ewig auf unsere Zimmer warten. Ansonsten eine schöne Anlage. ”

“Ein solides Hotel, die Lage ist perfekt mit sehr guten Restaurants und Bars fußläufig erreichbar. Auch der Hafen und die Promenade sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Leider hat das Hotel in entscheidenden Situationen nicht glänzen können, daher nur 4 statt 5 Sterne: - Die Frühstücksräume sind sehr klein und eng, der Tag fängt also mit Parcourlauf an. - Im Zimmer liegt ein Infoflyer falls man andere Kissen wünscht, da ich oft Nackenschmerzen bekomme habe ich das Angebot angenommen, bekommen habe ich……

“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”
