"Good place to good but it’s extra big you have to walk a lot if you planning to go with kids be aware that they don’t have no kids station in the bathroom and there’s restaurants that they don’t let kids go in even though the restaurants are in the family size of the resort the check in they were supposed to give us the room at 3 we got our room at 6 the food was okay the food felt cold most of the time but I was okay employees are horrible they are super rude they never have a second option for the customer they make your stay difficult,"

"Food was ok. Rooms were big. Cleaning wasn’t daily and it was a hit or miss if they would give us new towels. The worst was the bartender/waiter Francisco stole $100 dollars from us when we went to tip him. Then when we went to find him and complain, the staff told us he was off for the next 3 days and they couldn’t help us."

"We definitely enjoyed our stay at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana!! Make sure you speak a lil Spanish when you go to make ya stay a lil easier. They definitely have things going on throughout the day for entertainment. The food was ok the best being Chop Stix restaurant. As mentioned previously it was a lil difficult get a wash cloth from the staff because they didnt really understand what I was asking for. Also, when you place a call for service the staff kinda takes there time to make it to your room. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Sunscape Coco Punta Cana and will definitely be back again. Just and FYI they have free water sports on the resort towards the beach and can set you up for excursions as well thank me later!!"

"We have always had a great experience with Dominican people they are warm and welcoming. The resort is also family friendly, they had kids menu at restaurants, kids pool and pizza lunches. Common areas of the resort were always nice, clean, and maintained. Now for the con... Our room was not exactly as it appeared in the pictures. I feel the bedding and furniture can use an upgrade. But my main concern was the floor in our room was not regularly sweeped and cleaned. The resort also experienced some power outages during our stay. Rumor from people off the resort is that the outages are common and no other resort experiences these outages. Unfortunately I dont think our family will return to Catalonia in the future."

"We stayed at this resort in early June and had a mixed experience. The biggest positives were the staff and atmosphere. Every employee we encountered was friendly, hardworking, and eager to help. Although there was sometimes a language barrier, their hospitality made a strong impression. The property itself is showing its age. Many areas felt outdated, and several fixtures appeared to need maintenance. Compared with other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited, this one felt more worn. The food was decent but somewhat limited and repetitive. The staff’s excellent service helped make dining more enjoyable. One of our biggest disappointments was the lack of activities and amenities in operation. We were told it was the “off season,” but several features, including the beach bar and larger buffet area, were not being used. For an early June visit, this was surprising. On the positive side, the resort never felt crowded. The quiet atmosphere, easy access to amenities, and extra space made for a relaxing stay. If you want a lively resort with lots of entertainment, this may not be the best choice. However, those seeking a peaceful getaway may still enjoy it. Overall, the staff were the highlight of our stay, but the resort would benefit from updates, better maintenance, more dining variety, and fuller use of its facilities."
