"We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was clean, comfortable, homely, and felt very safe throughout our visit. The location was also great, with shops conveniently close by, making everything we needed easily accessible. The only downside was the noise from the apartment upstairs. We could hear every bang and footstep, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. It will be great if this is attended to and resolved. Other than that, everything was excellent. I would definitely...

Village Hotel Solihull

Village Hotel Solihull

8/10 Good
"Was a good place for meeting up with family. The fact you have to pay for swimming wasn't clear from the booking. The disappointing part was the lift not working, we weren't made aware of this in advance and the stairs were super busy as everyone had to use them. Carrying luggage up was not easy. The breakfast can be chaotic and cold options aren't very many. Two double beds for the family room was a great option and our preferred set up but no shelves in the room was inconvenient."

"Lovely hotel in a great part of the city. Lots of places to eat nearby and a few decent coffee shops. Everything was clean and the restoration shows the heritage but not the age of the hotel. Lovely, airy rooms and beautiful - very clean - bathrooms. Well designed and nicely furnished. Really appreciated the double sinks in our bathroom! Only downside for me is- the bed was a tad too firm for my liking."
