“We booked the hotel last minute and we were very pleased from the beginning. We walked in and it smelt lovely, everywhere was immaculate. The host was very welcoming and explained all the details, room, keys and breakfast. Once in the room, again immaculate everywhere, not a speck if dirt or dust. As for the beds and pillows, great quality and sooo comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is continental but has a wide variety to choose from and not cheap quality stuff. All in all, an amazing……

“Staff were very attentive, from friendly welcoming on arrival to loaning a charging adaptor, to breakfast on the following morning on the table at the time agreed. The bedroom however could benefit from a good clean, and suffered from dated decor. I however think the cost of the room was very good value. The Guest House is just a short walk from the Promenade close to the Tower, but is far enough away to not suffer from noisy revellers on a Friday night in mid Summer”

“There’s no on‑site parking for overnight stays, but the car park is just around the corner and only a few minutes’ walk away. The guest house is close to everything, with a small Morrisons conveniently located at the end of the road. The couple who run the guest house were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and had everything we needed — soap, shampoo, towels, tea and coffee. I would stay again, though I’d request a lower floor next time. I paid £80 for one night for……

“Staff were very welcoming & helpful. rooms, bedding and towels were clean and also had a fan in our room. (Family room) on our last day our train home wasnt until 3pm and he let us keep our suitcase in storage and go back for it before we went for the train whilst we enjoyed afew more hours in the centre. Would definitely stay again.”
