“The room was clean and tidy but the plug socket for the kettle and t.v. was loose and not properly attached to the wall. Also, the two bedside wall lights didn't work at all and one was hanging from the wall showing the wire.”

“I bought hotel.com gift card, but Shrad Riverside did not accept. Unfortunately Shrad charged my credit card which I don't really agree.”

“The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some.……

“Amazing Lodges with fantastic facilities and welcome packs that we didn't expect. Home from home.I left my phone in the lodge and I didn't realise until I was home. A lady found it and handed it in to the office. I called Hambleton when I got home and Ian said he would post it to me. If that's not going above and beyond I don't know what is. Well done team 👏 and a big thank you!!!We will definitely be back.”

“If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond. Gareth our host was very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. ”
