“Host was great- communication excellent- good eateries close by- clean and tidy”

“Good location .everything you need for a weekend break.will book again”

“Fantastic house, with great location in the forest and close to the lack. The house if well set out to allow for privacy even if you have a full house. An area for the kids to play TV games on one TV, whilst the parents can watch something else in the other room....and if anyone wants to sit outside on the deck, two perfect spaces to sit outside and relax.”

“Brookside is a great place for a quiet family break with a dog (or without!). The rooms are good sized and there is an abundance of pots, cutlery and glassware. It’s also well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The bonus for Brookside is its location overlooking the village green, good for walking the dog - on a lead because of grazing sheep and lambs. Within 20 minutes you can be in Appleby and slightly longer to Penrith. It’s also good if you are attending a wedding at……

“It was a lot smaller than the photos looked, However its decor was nice but the property smelt foisty”

“The home was perfect for what we were looking for, which was just a home base to relax in and visit with family in the area. It has easy access to the rail station, grocery store, and downtown shopping and dining. The kitchen supplies were basic, but enough to put together some simple meals after a trip to the grocery store. The beds were very comfortable. There is a bit of traffic noise, but that’s really only because we were there in August and needed to open windows. We would stay again……

“Loved our stay here. The cottage was clean and spacious with thoughtful decor. The Pheasant Inn which does decent food is a stones throw away.”

“We highly recommend the Old Weigh House in Kirkby Lonsdale. It is in a great location just off the main Street and convenient to shopping and pubs but very quiet. The house itself is clean and comfortable with everything you need for self catering and comfortable beds and furniture. The agents who manage this holiday let are responsive and helpful and answered our queries very promptly including at the weekend. Kirkby Lonsdale is a beautiful village and well located for visiting the Yorkshire……

“Amazing property with the best kitchen and living room I have seen. The details in the house was amazing, loved everybit.”

“The property was everything we needed it had been nicely done with quality fittings and we had a very relaxing stay. The views were fantastic and the only noise came from the neighbouring sheep. Garden was great for our border collie who had plenty of room to play.”

“Clean place The host was amazingly helpful. Once we figured out the bus travel was easy”
