“The photos in the listing do not do this house justice. The views from the garden are spectacular. It doesn’t even seem real! There is everything you could possibly need in the house. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, floor to ceiling books and a big shower with hot water. We wish that we could move there and stay forever.”

“The Snug is in the perfect location for exploring waterfront Stonehaven. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops, and very near the start of the walking trail that goes from Stonehaven to the war memorial and Dunnottar Castle. The flat itself is adorable - brightly decorated with lovely Scottish touches. We were a family of two adults and one preteen, and it was a good fit. The kitchen has items to store and prepare food, which we did several of the days. It was great having our own……

“The food was very good and the staff excellent. Unfortunately our room was noisy because it was above the bar and banging hotel entrance doors. Thumping music does not sit welll with a hotel's function. Of providing restful accommodation.”

“On arrival I had a problem with my room door, after waiting in the bar for around 30 mins the very helpful young lady off reception came and offered me a free room upgrade which turned out to be very nice. Breakfast was expensive and very average, bathroom in my room was superb the rest of the hotel was a little musky smelling and in need or some work everywhere except the dinning area and the bathroom, my friends room near reception was very musky smelling and was over £100, stunning gardens……

“Good location for an escape - Great views on the ocean at sunrise and sunset just a short walk away. Jeremy the host was very welcoming and friendly. House was rather noisy from the elements outside (wind though the old fireplace that has not been covered correctly) plus the noise from interior such as boiler. Original fireplace not usable as advertised however small electric fire was provided. Beds were not the most comfortable and bathroom needs a little love. A welcome pack of basic……
