「Staying in a small place was a bucket list item and it was fun!」

「Green Sparrow’s Nest had a nice Mountain View. We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck enjoying the wildlife around us. We saw birds; Stellar Jays, Violet Green Swallows, hummingbirds, Chickadees, nuthatches, magpies, crows and more. We saw deer, including an 8 point buck and we even saw a black bear, all from our deck.」

「MOUSE POOP ALL OVER At first it looked like a quite intimate cabin… We arrived very late very late on the first day and left very early for our adventure. When we came back there was mouse and/or rodent feces all over the room. IN THE BED, on the night stand, in the shower, on the kitchen sink… ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. When i messaged the property owner, all I got was “the cleaning person is out today”. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND YOU STAY HERE!!!!」

「This property is located just far enough from Colorado Springs that you feel secluded. Expect to see wildlife up close. The cabin itself it beautifully renovated and decorated. The hot tub felt amazing after a long day of exploring Colorado. Our kids enjoyed the loft area and used it as a play space. We cooked most of our meals in the cabin which had everything we needed. Major plus was having a washer and dryer to do laundry. Our overall experience was amazing and will definitely book this...

「Excellent location. Easy drive to Manitou, Garden of the Gods, restaurants and shops. Great views off the balcony, although we were there during an unusual May snowstorm so it was too cold to sit outside. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well appointed. Our only complaint was the driveway into the property. It is very steep and it was challenging to get into and out of each time we wanted to go somewhere. Would definitely stay again.」
