“My stay at Silver Heart was truly magical. The property is stunning and full of character, and everything was sparkling clean. I could not have felt any more welcomed and will absolutely stay there again if and when I'm in Kansas City area next time. ”

“Linens stained, perhaps soiled (mainly top covers). Place is showing some wear. Sheets a bit rough, but probably provide some exfoliation. Not much available for breakfast, but you are in luck if an oatmeal packet and an apple would do. Parking convenient. Not a place for lite sleepers, overlooks the highway and quite close. Mattress acceptable. Also, if a sign is on the desk saying, “Assisting another guest, back in 10, call —- in an emergency”, call immediately. After a 15 minute wait,……

“I literally seen a roach, the shower head was hanging on by dear life. Cabinets chipped. My door didn’t close all the way at the bottom.”

“The rooms were very clean & nice. We had a problem with the toilet. It would not flush so we had to use lobby bathroom. The staff was very nice.”

“The room was spacious but the bedding is old and have tears on it. There were toilet paper in there as the property managers appeared to hoard it and give it to you only when you ask for it. An older lady came down to get toilet papers when I was about to check in and I had to do the same. Contrary to what was advertised, the room does not have a microwave and fridge. They brought a small fridge after I asked for it. There were no tissue paper though they have a placeholder for it. The bathroom……

“The property needs to be renovated, very out dated. Plumbing work is needed, Staff is very nice but can only use the resources they have to make a pleasant stay for their guest. ”

“Parking lot was handicapped marked spots, but no elevator on the premises. A handicapped person has to walk up a flight of poorly maintained wooden steps to the second floor. The door lock was broken and a magnet lock was put on the door which was the only lock available. The floor was not clean, the bathtub was stained and dirty. It was loud and noisy with construction workers standing on the balcony until midnight. The check in employee said all the rooms were full so no chance of moving to a……

“The pool was pretty nice. The Personnel is the problem. Do not have a clean culture, nor a service culture, no towels in the pool area, the Hotel was dirty in the open areas, hallways. Our room had a pretty bad mattress and no response to change it. We stayed 3 nights and no resolution. The Hotel Asset is pretty good, but the staff in front desk... always in their phones,and hanging around...”

“It was very noisy during my stay—it sounded like there was construction going on. The receptionist at check-in was quite inattentive and nearly charged me again by mistake.”

“If you are desperate and need a room for the night then this could be the place for you. The hotel is very dirty. You can see the filth in the shower, toilet seat. I had to got to the store and clean my room. The tv remote head sticky. Who knows when or if the bed sheets were changed. I had to use my sweater for a pillow. They serve breakfast but I didn’t eat it. ”

“The hotel was in a convenient location to downtown. They were in the midst of renovations, but did a great job of protecting guests from that. The breakfast could have been a little more varied, but it was unique to have a bagel bar (if I’m remembering correctly).”

“The staff was poor at best didn’t have time to answer questions. The rooms were disgusting transients all over the property wouldn’t recommend it.”
