The 20 minute drive to the north side of the island is certainly worth it."

"We loved out time here. White is a very special hotel, it is small and the staff was attentive. They gave us a phone to communicate with them whatever we needed during the day. They provided detailed site seeing information and restaurant information and they would coordinate anything you needed. The hotel itself was beautiful. It does not look like much from the street, but once you walk through the doors it is all ocean views. We enjoyed time spent at the infinity pool overlooking the water. Delicious breakfast was served outside so you could maximize time spent with that view. Dinner was also delicious with freshly caught fish and vegetables from their own garden. We loved our time in the Azores and big reason was this because of this hotel. We are already planning our return."

Thermal pool amenities are perfect to relax after a day’s activities. Restaurant feels like you’re in a garden, and lots of healthy options. Comfortable rooms and quiet at night. Definitely worth exploring this part of the island. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back one day!"
