「I booked 4 nights at the Vanessie because it was located close to the downtown area of Santa Fe and the Railroad District. Also, I was looking for local charm, and thought the wood-beamed ceiling was cool. I got there after 9:00 PM only to find out that they do not staff the Inn after 8:00 PM. I called the emergency number posted by the front door and Jay walked me through were to find my key codes (there are no keys, just coded locks) and got me into Unit 1. 「My husband and I stayed here 4 days for my birthday. What a wonderful hotel. We had a gorgeous room, excellent linens, maid staff and concierge were outstanding. Hotel is set up to be able to walk almost everywhere. Valet parking is spot on. Would definitely stay here again.」

「First, the good: I will say that the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful! We had one request during our stay for help with a TV that would not turn on, and it was resolved promptly before we returned to our room. There were complimentary muffins, apples, and coffee available each morning in the lobby which was a nice surprise because I did not see anything about that online.
