“Totally Awesome! Place was impressive, secluded and private. Exceeded expectations by a bunch. If I could give 6 stars, I would. This hideaway had everything to make our stay perfect. Dawn had us setup with fresh cinnamon rolls to enjoy from the get go. There is a fire pit , a gazebo with table , grill and trails to follow. The bird feeder was so entertaining from many different birds and the cutest chipmunks. We are hoping to return soon. A great getaway!”

“This house was the perfect stay for a weekend getaway with friends. The house had an amazing backyard and it was in a great location close to downtown New Buffalo. The only thing was that the oven was dirty, so when we tried to make a frozen pizza the smoke alarm just kept going off. Overall a really great stay for the weekend.”

“We absolutely adored our stay at this place. The heat and humidity on the weekend was awful but we were able to ventilate the area pretty well with fans and a/c in the window. We were able to bring our furry friend with and they had a blast just hanging out! The whole kitchen was stocked with utensils and plates which was very appreciated. There was a bedroom with a bed and a couch that folded down very comfy. Two beds in the 2nd floor however you could absolutely fit some sleeping bags or what……

“Stayed in both cottages with a group of seven long-time friends. Lots of space inside and out. We went to breweries and the beach (not necessarily in that order) during the day and cooked dinner at night, ending with a fire. Both decks and fire pits had plenty of space for entertaining. We had everything we needed for our stay. Great property and great hosts.”

“Loved beach location and proximity to restaurants and Red Arrow highway. Wonderful linens and towels. Nicely furnished. Christopher helpful. Enjoyed the hot tub. Great beach chairs, umbrellas. Charming gazebo. Listed as 4 bedrooms but one "bedroom" is part of the basement. House is 90 years old and basement is clean but has the distinct smell of damp. We could not feel good about anyone sleeping down there. Owners need to address damp and refresh outdoor kitchen and bathroom in main bedroom.……

“This place had everything we needed- Cindy was very gracious and made us feel welcome. Was great to be able to walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We use VRBO regularly, and this was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. One caveat- it is an older home, so not a great choice if someone in your group has mobility issues.”

“Perfect little spot for the two of us plus the pup. We enjoyed our quiet weekend on this beautiful little lake. The ladies who live here were kind and attentive but not intrusive. The only thing I would advise is if your pup isn’t other pet friendly I would let them know ahead of your arrival. The owners pups were very friendly and we had no issues but I do know sometimes a rescue pup prefers to be by themselves and the fenced in area is a shared space with the owners dogs. “We chose this condo for our family to stay together and for our son to host his groomsmen the day of the wedding for college football and lunch. The place was better than it shows in pictures. High end, spacious, accommodates a group and walkable to downtown St Joseph! Thank you for having us!”

“We love the house and the back yard. The house was very clean and tidy and also adorable. Also, there were beach towels and beach chairs which was fantastic! We certainly used them on the beach. We were in town for a wedding and it was a very comfortable place for us to stay and easy access to where we needed to be.”
