「We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay here again. Room and bathroom were clean. Fresh towels, tea, coffee supplied in the room. Breakfast included in the morning was beautiful and had plenty to choose from. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Wasn't too noisy as situated just off the main square so got a good nights sleep. Close to all the shops, pubs and restaurants.」

「Lovely spacious room in the cottage. Everything was catered for. Options for breakfast and dinner. We had a lovely sitting outside area which was handy on one of the hottest days. We parked in the long stay car park but then the lady on reception informed us that after 5pm the street was quieter and we managed to park our car nearby. 」

「We stayed 3 nights and the experience was excellent. Clean, quiet and superb breakfast included. Ate dinner in the pub twice which was very good. No downsides, just that there was no cot available for the baby. No issues as we were told that in advance so brought our own. Also the single bed in our room was very squeaky. Would definitely stay again. 」

「Very quirky pub with a fantastic horse theme. The rooms were fabulous and very comfortable. They had thought of everything in the rooms and also had Dolce Gusto coffee. Then curly wurly was a great idea instead of biscuits in the room. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Cannot fault the service we received at the bar or in the restaurant and the food was amazing. 」

「Absolutely lovely. Booked through Expedia. Upon arrival we were expected & welcomed by the host. The place was family run and everyone we encountered was brilliant, all working together & multitasking, like a well oiled machine. We stopped in room 12 on the 1st floor, it even had a little balcony with astro turf, table & chairs to allow us to sit out and watch the sunset over the trees in the distance. 「The hotel was in a great part of Edinburgh making it easy to walk places. We loved how the building fit in with old Edinburgh. The breakfast was delicious. Being able to store our luggage between checkout and when we caught the train gave us an extra half day in town. We definitely recommend to anyone planning a stay in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland. 」

「Fabulous recent 2 nights stay at the Black Swan Inn . Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very efficient . Our room was a lovely large space and a very big king sized bed which was extremely comfortable . We will definitely return . 」
