"The hotel was beautiful and well kept. It is situated in a very safe and walkable part of Chicago. The hotel doors are locked after 9pm with access only via hotel card. I felt very safe and secure there. Lots of food options and attractions nearby to walk to. The staff were very friendly and there is a designated ride share spot. The room is well stocked with snacks and drink assortments (for additional charge) but super convenient! My only complaint was the hotel restaurant was short staffed. I personally would not try their restaurant again. There was only one waitress working that particular morning. I waited probably 15 minutes to be seated and the restaurant only had 3 groups (2 couples and 1 solo guest). After I was seated I waited another 15 minutes and the waitress never came back. A kind kitchen worker noticed I still had not been helped (itā€™s an open kitchen) and took my order and brought my drink and later my food. The waitress never came back to ask if I needed a refill (which I really did want one). I never saw her again until she dropped off the check. I waited some more thinking she was going to come back for payment but never did. I ended up having to walk over to her and hand her my card telling her I was ready to pay and go."
