「We loved our stay at Hotel Palazzo Achates. The location was within easy walking distance to the main restaurant and shopping area. There are a couple of great lively spots just around the corner from the hotel than we would stop for a drink. Our room was clean and looked newly renovated. We appreciated the patio for a little quiet time after our busy days. Communication with the staff was quick and helpful. We would stay here again,」

「Check in was smooth and communicative. I dealt with both Gieseppe and Gianni - including before we even departed for Sicily - and had a good experience. All communications were via WhatsApp (as were all other accommodations we used in Sicily), so ensure that you have good access to data (e-sims were easy to purchase beforehand). 「Fantastic rooms with balconies overlooking the main street in Palermo. The room and facilites were very clean, coffee, tea and pastries offered complimentry in a communal area. If driving into the city a permit is required for the ZTL Zone, this was arranged free of charge by the hotel. Street parking in blue bays only €1 per hour, free 8pm - 8am and free 2pm - 4pm if a parking spot is available, we got lucky and parked directly below the property for 3 days.
