“For anyone looking to get away and unwind, this cabin is fabulous. It had everything we needed and we've already booked it again for next year!”

“This little cabin was adorable and perfect for a one night stay with our pups. Be aware there are dogs (and cats) in the neighborhood. The cabin had everything we could need and was very clean.”

“Wonderful house and we enjoyed our stay”

“Location and setting turned out to be very good to be with family and near Salisbury. It was good to be in the countryside, especially in the fall season. Temperature control was easy and very good, both heating and cooling. Ideally, as a married couple, we would have preferred a larger bed, but we knew that before we booked. It was not an issue for a short stay. We had family over and they all liked it, spending time in the spacious screened in room.”

“It had gotten chilly and the leaves had begun to change, which was the perfect timing for staying at this awesome mountain top cabin. We had access to a wonderful fire pit and grilled over that each night. The cabin is located perfectly to get to trails. We loved our stay here! ”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the loft and the trails. We loved the fishing too!”

“Great stay! Everything we needed and walking distance to downtown Matthews!”

“We had a great getaway with our children and grandchildren. The house was perfect.”

“The Host is local and very attentive to us and the property! We will stay at this place the next time we are in town!!Matt”

“Our stay at was absolutely amazing! The house was exactly as pictured—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. We especially loved the use of the kayaks, paddle boards, floaties, etc.It was a wonderful and very relaxing getaway. Our host was amazing and responded quickly to our questions.”

“Best little hidden gem. Will rent again..”

“Very clean and quiet perfect for relaxing!”

“The inside was clean except there were spiders in the corners of every room. We probably killed 30 spiders upon entering the home and several more throughout our stay. My husband and I both found a spider crawling on us during our stay. The porch and deck out back were unusable because of spider webs and tree debris. The kayaks were full of dirty water and needed to be cleaned before we used them. The dock had many nails sticking up. The view was amazing. It was very quiet. The inside was……

“We were a group of 13–14 friends getting together for the first time since graduating six years ago, and this house couldn’t have been a better choice. It was spacious, comfortable, and easily accommodated everyone in our group. The host was fantastic and very responsive. We had a minor issue with a fire alarm that started beeping intermittently, but after sending a quick message, the host resolved it right away. The location was one of our favorite parts. It was quiet, peaceful, and secluded……

“We had a wonderful time! Ellen was a great host!! The house was so quaintly decorated and very spacious. Here are some things I was concerned about, but they worked out perfectly: No TV - Even though there was no TV, it was nice because we could relax and talk with each other instead of zoning out in front of the TV. Window AC Units - The days were around 90 degrees, and the AC units cooled the house very nicely. Gravel Road Leading to the House - If you come from the north (off Matton……

“The property is so beautiful and unique! The contact checked in before our arrival to make sure everything would be in order and offer early check in. She provided helpful tips also. She was quick to respond to any questions throughout our stay, but we had few questions as anything you could hope to need was already there. The place was immaculate and we felt very much at home. I loved watching the horses and they were very friendly. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.……
