December in Hocking Hills means icy roads, snow, and stress if you choose wrong. I refused to put kids on dangerous back roads just to reach a remote cabin.What we wanted was simple but rare: a cabin that felt secluded but was right off the main road. Safe. Easy. The cabin sits up on a hill, surrounded by trees, with its own private trails, rock formations, and caves. You don’t feel traffic. You don’t feel crowded. You feel tucked away in nature—without the risk.Inside, it was perfect for every age: plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a cozy wood-burning stove, a pool table and arcade games for the kids, and a big-screen TV with surround sound the men loved. The hot tub was exactly what our daughter wanted—relaxing, peaceful, and memorable.Everything worked. Everything was clean. Everything was thoughtfully set up for real families.This wasn’t just a stay—it was a milestone memory. We would book this cabin again without hesitation."

"The hot tub was perfect! It was bitterly cold outside so we wondered if it would be hot enough but 102 was great! I'm glad she warned us about the cloudiness of the water.We were also glad to see that the firepit was covered. There was 6 inches of snow on the ground but you could still have a campfire."

"It was an awesome experience. We had a women’s healing retreat and everything was wonderful. We had a winter storm begin after everyone arrived and the host extended his compassion and didn’t rush us out at check out. When we left the roads were clear and we all made it home safely. Everything we needed to have a wonderful dinner experience was in the cabinets. All we had to do was bring the food and the supplies were perfect. Thank you and I look forward to returning back soon.
