“The resort is very clean and well situated. The pool is somewhat small for the amount of guests and very cloudy. The biggest issue is the scheme about the cost of beach chairs/umbrella. While two chairs are advertised as “complimentary” - an umbrella is NOT. No one could sit out in the hot Florida sun without an umbrella and the resort won’t allow you to use your own, so you’re forced to pay $45 per day for an umbrella. “This was by far the worst vacation and the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.
The rooms were okay and seemed fairly new, but the towels were extremely limited, and the same went for the toilet paper. When we arrived, there was a large water leak right in the middle of the entrance area. However, that wasn’t even the worst part.
There are stairs everywhere and no elevator. That may be fine for some guests, but my 80-year-old grandmother was unable to manage them.

“We stayed for three nights in the Violet room and it was delightful. This place isn’t “fancy” in the modern materialistic sense, but the staff were wonderful, its clean and well maintained for being right on the beach, super quiet, convenient to everything, and best of all, the beachfront is unmatched in its beauty and accessibility.
We visited Bean Point and Coquina Beach, and found that the beachfront right out our door at Cedar Cove is as good as it gets! Highly recommend :)”

“Room was clean and organized and a very neat property. Only issue we had was the pool wasn't heated nor did the spa/hot tub. The dock was very nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!”
