「The one bedroom cottage was a comfortable stay for us. The size was good for us and it was very clean. Just about everything needed was available. The location was very convenient for the places we wanted to visit. It was surprising private considering it was really located in a neighborhood. We stayed in the fall so we didn't take advantage of the waterfront for swimming/boating. The small porch was nice. Communication was great, it was easy to get into the cottage. 「Beautiful location in the forest right next to the lake. It’s a very warm and cozy feeling. Just walk out the back door and you are within several feet of the shoreline. The only concern is to be aware of the stairs waI would recommend for anyone who wants to be on the lake and in a forest setting. Just walk down the steps from the parking area and into another world. The shoreline is literally steps from the back door. 」

「As long as you are physically able to manage the steps (that the owner includes in the listing) this is an absolutely wonderful couple retreat place. The hosts were very friendly [including their 2 dogs :-)] and helpful, the view across the lake is gorgeous, everything was clean and neat and included all that we needed (or asked for in one case), was great to have the kayaks available to go out on the lake.
