“We loved staying at Ala Kai B&B. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. They provided great dinner recommendations and places to visit. They also provided an excellent breakfast in the morning. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Our teenage daughter enjoyed having her own room.”

“Exceptionally clean, thoughtful provision of amenities like shampoo and toothpaste etc., very comfortable bed, delicious healthy breakfast each day, lovely garden. Good advice on things to do in the area. Close to Uncle Robert’s fun music night, market. ”

“This was exactly what our little family needed. Cozy, clean, comfortable. It came stocked with random toiletries I’m guessing were left by previous guests. (Thanks to whoever bought the aloe lotion by the way). As well as some beach gear, a plethora of towels and a few useful kitchen items. Checked into a hotel on the other side of the island and immediately missed the quiet little house where I could listen to the interesting night wildlife. The house is older by well maintained. So long as……

“This location is absolutely beautiful. Weather you are looking to stay on the Kilo side of the island for the luscious land scape or to just disconnect for a while. The house is a home away from home in all aspects, especially if you have a family that wants to stay and hang out together. The easy check in/out was wonderful. The only thing that would have made the cooking and cleaning experience better would be the addition of measuring cups to the beautiful kitchen and a vacuum to use to……

“No parecía una casa funcional. La habitación de abajo queda muy separada y no tiene baño lo que la hace incómoda. Una sala con TV grande totalmente separada de la cocina comedor que no tiene tv. La casa es rara, muchos recovecos, grande pero no funcional. Provee solo 2 sillas para playa cuando éramos 5. Tampoco tiene bbq grill. Nos pareció cara por lo que realmente es.”

“Very clean, has everything you need to stay for a week. Large space, big enough for 6 people. Nice location, close to Volcano NP. Water pressure is a bit lacking.”
