"4th visit to Ma'ukele Lodge, and i always stay in the Hawaiin Room. This place is a real gem.
I love the Pahoa rustic vibe, the grounds are so unique, a discovery at every turn. The lave glow is amazing to explore.
Rooms are very comfortable, beds are big, linens ard top quality and many smsll touches mske you feel welcome. Fridge and microwave, plates etc to be self sufficient.
Breakfast is always amazing, fresh fruits and more, shared with the gekkos on the outside balcony.

"This was exactly what our little family needed. Cozy, clean, comfortable. It came stocked with random toiletries I’m guessing were left by previous guests. (Thanks to whoever bought the aloe lotion by the way). As well as some beach gear, a plethora of towels and a few useful kitchen items.
Checked into a hotel on the other side of the island and immediately missed the quiet little house where I could listen to the interesting night wildlife. The house is older by well maintained. So long as...
