“Even with Vrbo technical difficulties, the hosts were super easy to work with and resolve the issues. “As described: secluded, a much- needed respite; chocolates helped! Coqui’s night calls make me sleep though some might need ear plugs. I spent most evenings under the lanai’s bugless tent (green geckos were allowed:-) and beautiful silver pheqsant(!), Bed, couch, HAMMOCK, shower are big plusses. FYI: a short drive from Hilo past 8am is clear; 3:30 onward competes with schoolbus traffic. “Amazing space – clean, bright, spacious, and with all the amenities. About an hour from Hilo, but close to Kehana Beach and 20 minutes from the town of Pahoa. Sharon and Steve were extremely welcoming and communicative. My two colleagues and I very much enjoyed our 3 night stay.”
