"Our 4 night stay was wonderful, the inside has been recently renovated albeit it looks like some work is still being done in certain areas. It certainly did not deter from the overall experience and the owners have done a great job with the improvements thus far. The kitchen is amazing for cooking and entertaining. The house has an in-line water heater which was nice! The location is 45 minutes from Winterplace ski resort and about a 15 min car ride to most retail restaurant establishments. ...

"I had a super chill fun stay. It was a fly by destination for me on my way to Charlotte, NC. I got there early so I had a chance to explore the park and river that are super close. The place was clean. The room was big and the staff was very helpful and friendly."

"I liked everything especially our sercers at the breakfast buffet, however the woman at the front desk at check out was less than helpful when I asked her about a location on campus she never pointed me to her complimentary map just said she "didn;t know"..very unhelpful!!"

"Absolutely incredible stay at the Bent Mountain Lodge! This spot is a hidden gem - the property has incredible views, beautiful lodging & gracious hosts. We were visiting Roanoke for the marathon and brought our 2 dogs. When we got to the race, we found out our pups had been barking (anxious to be in a new place alone). "A lovely hotel- a bit out of the way and one has to travel through serpentine roads but- with beams and bricks and 12 feet ceilings ...large rooms and bathroom - its all very slick. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The breakfast is also excellent- with a good choice of proteins and carbs. The price is amazing for this kind of facility- the only reason I do not give it a ten is the train in the morning which is quite noisy!. "

"Staff were friendly. The rooms clean and comfortable. It was off if 81 but still quiet. It had full breakfast. There were glass plates but people with concerns for germs they had paper products. The refrigerator in the room actually worked I would return if traveling in that area again it had swimming pool guest laundry and workout room. All were in working order and clean "
