"The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility felt fresh, cozy and clean. It was in good repair with great water pressure. Certainly was convenient for us flying into Heathrow and then driving on to Scotland.. The 7 of us will be back next weekend before flying out to head home. Thank you!"

"The hotel is well located near the train station, making it very convenient for us to make day trips to other cities as Reading is a major train hub. We like the room configuration too. Although the room is small but it has everything we need. Of course we like the price, really good value for money."

"We had a lovely stay at The Great House. Everything felt calm and organised, the room was clean and the bathroom was lush. We stayed in a 'cosy' room, which probably didnt need the chair in it making it even more cosy, but as we basically just needed the room for sleeping, it was perfect (warm as the windows dont open far, but there was a fan). The attached restaurant, The Coppa Club was a great place to while away a sunny afternoon and we met family for dinner there too. Food was delicious, the reservation was slightly messed up by them and a discount was applied without having to ask - always a green flag in my opinion! "

"Great experience staff helpful and friendly room clean and tidy. Had a problem with the toilet which kept filling with water the staff immediately attempted a fix that didn't work and was offered a change of room when I reported it was still not working which I accepted. My third stay in the last few months and always found the staff very helpful and the room ready and clean and comfortable "
