「A wonderful welcome and our room was lovely. The dining area was busy with both residents and local people. The menu offered a good variety and food arrived very hot and well presented. We wouldn’t hesitate to return but would advise that the age of the building means that stairs are very steep and the floors are uneven. 」

「I arrived a day early by accident 😬 but the staff were amazing and changed my day for me which i was truly grateful for. The room was spotless with a heater, fan, iron, hairdryer, kettle etc... I had a lovely evening swim in the heated pool. 「Food is delicious. The breakfast is very traditional English style. The staff is very nice, much nicer than some so- called famous hotel. Only as a historical building, the floor and steps are interesting. The location is good for watching cold stream march. Overall is the best from my list by price. Worth trying again. 」
