"This property is beautiful and extremely clean. We loved having the 2 balconies & the kitchen. The staff is exceptional, responsive & helpful. They go above and beyond to help in any way possible. We absolutely loved the breakfast. The breakfast room was beautiful and the food was delicious. We hope to return sometime soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Very nice property, excellent. Convenient to shopping and dining. They offer for valet parking for €23 a day. I would’ve rated it at five, but we’ve been to other hotels in Sicily that were significantly more luxurious and where staff were much warmer. I recommend that if you’re going to Palermo, you don’t need or want your own car to get around the city. Just walk or take a taxi. Parking is very difficult and it’s not an easy city to drive in. And I drive in New York City."

"I just returned from three weeks in Sicily, having spent the first five days at Borgo di Ciaula. The location is great for exploring Santa Flavia and Sant'Elia. "Great location made it easy to walk to most local attractions and good eating. Having the Palazzo Butera right across the street was a treat! You can get great views from there or enjoy a beautiful scene from the hotel’s own 4th floor restaurant/bar. Was unable to enjoy the spa services because they were fully booked. You may want to reserve a spot in advance. "

"Great experience Terrific value for money! Centrally located in Palermo, the rooms were very nice size and the bathrooms well appointed. Most exciting was the size of the shower (European showers tend to be quite small and this one was decent size) However, the best part about this hotel is the rooftop restaurant. We dined there for dinner with superb service from Natalia! The food, drinks and views were out of this world! Was able to have breakfast there as well (included in rate) ...

"Great hotel and staff. We were there for Easter and they made it extra special for my two young children-had a special treat for them in the morning that made their day! The hotel was wonderful and clean and good amenities. I would skip the restaurant upstairs. Breakfast was subpar for what they charge. "

"Within walking distance to the heart of the city of Palermo. Our room was very spacious although it was in the older section and elevator only went to first floor so had to climb stairs to second floor. Morning breakfast provided was nice. "

They say they have a gym, but they do not; the equipment is very old, and there is one weight machine that barely works. Not even sure why they have it there. The hotel should invest in some nicer equipment. The other issue we had was with the wifi. We had NO wifi connection in our room. We brought it up with the front desk, and they said it should be working, but it wasn't. If you need a gym, I would suggest...

" I stayed here for three weeks. The staff upgraded my room to one with a balcony, which is great to have-- but both rooms were very nice. The beds are very comfortable, though I do wish they had black-out curtains. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in finding services I needed to fully enjoy my stay in Palermo.
