“Hallway and room were very musty. A/C in room was filthy, smelt horrible, and could not be used. The bed sloped off to one side and should be replaced. Considered leaving in the middle of the night to find comfortable accommodations.”

“We don’t often stay in a motel but needed a room for one night and the Wellfleet Motel was conveniently located. We had low expectations but were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the quality of the bed linens. The room appeared to have been renovated very recently. The bathroom was new and immaculately clean. Even the art on the wall was well chosen. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend!”

“They were clearly unprepared for the season. The contactless check-in was god awful and barely worked; had to reach out several times to get this resolved. Was not able to check in at the time that was noted on my paid reservation and upon checking in later than paid there were still cleaners there and we walked on site to trash everywhere. Biggest issues was that the A/C did not work in one of the two rooms that was booked. The other room the A/C was dirty and blowing dust out the whole time……

“The Inn at Cook St is privately owned and well maintained by the owner Spencer. He greeted us and personally supervised where we safely parked our car, fix the television so we could watch the Knicks game and cooked the best breakfast ever! And he gardens too. It is worth every penny to stay at this inn! It is conveniently located, near Commercial St, quiet and surrounded by trees and flowers. Our room was clean, uniquely decorated and well airated! Spencer was extemely accommodating,and made……

“No one was in the office when we arrived (not late) or when we left the following morning. No one answered the phone or answered messages we left. There appeared to be no one on the property. Keys were left for us. Unattended pool and property. Very irresponsible and concerning. Was there several times years ago and had much better experience.”

Bed so comfortable. 1 in-person staff member supports more than one location, but when I called the number posted to park and then to check in, they sent parking directions quickly via text and had the key app facilitated. Everything was terrific. They even had umbrellas available!”
