"The motel is a nice property, close walking distance to the main stretch of restaurants and shops of Bar Harbor. We walked everywhere during the trip! What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. Every single person from day and night shift was so kind and welcoming. Susie and Danette were phenomenal. They were quick to provide recommendations for all areas of Mount Dessert Island. My boyfriend and I got engaged on this trip, and I had a friend call the front desk without our knowledge. Danette personally helped my friend (over the phone) get a bottle of champagne to our room to celebrate. You truly don’t get this type of hospitality just anywhere, and it made our trip that much more special. We highly recommend this place and will be back!"

"Away from the madness of downtown Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful as was the food at the Bistro cafe (note I am not a foodie tho). Quiet and great view "

"We enjoyed our stay. It had a great view from our balcony, was clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly. It was nice to have access to the free Island Exploer bus that took us downtown Bar Harbor in just about 10-15min. Using the bus saved us the hassle of the paid downtown parking. "
