"The bed was comfortable. The cleanliness of the property could use improvement. Porches covered with pine needles, vents and cold air returns filled with built up dust. Property managers “Vacasa” kept saying they would do whatever they could to rectify the situation. But never did anything. I ended up buying a broom to sweep the porches. Just not a good way to do business."

"I brought my teenage daughter and four of her friends to the beach for a graduation celebration. They loved the house and the close proximity to the boardwalk. There are NO linens at all (sheets, towels, bath towels, kitchen towels) and no paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) so remember to bring them. Bathrooms are in need a deep clean. Teenagers didn't notice but a more sophisticated crowd would have."

"Overall this location was great for a short walk to the beach but the cleaning was lackluster and the kitchen needed to be restocked with normal cooking items and utensils. The floor didn't was dirty and the vacuum really didn't work, there were ping pong balls under couches and socks under beds, etc. We did contact Vacasa and to their credit they offered $100 but I would suggest the owner consider new management/cleaning or else this would have been at least 4 stars! "This house is on a corner lot and has privacy on three sides. It’s on the edge of a marsh and a nature lover’s dream. I saw 45 bird species over three days. You can launch kayaks right from the property into the Assawoman Canal. Kayaks are available at the house but only one has a seat. The 1970s house is slightly dated but completely functional. "We have stayed at this property twice so there were no surprises. However it’s not as clean as one would like. The washing machine smelled like mildew and the upholstered furniture needs a good shampooing and there were ants coming in the front door. I blame this as much on the mgmt team as anyone. But overall, a good value."

"Overall really great. Nice property - just a few broken fans and lampshade. Short walk to the beach and boardwalk, quiet neighborhood. Nice playground within walking distance. Only issue was really faulty Internet that took several days to be fixed by Vacasa - their communication with me about this issue was not great."

"Beautiful eco-friendly property. Great location. There were only 5 of us, but would sleep 10 comfortably. A list of a few suggestions left with the rental Company for a few things that would make the home more user friendly (signage on light switches and remotes, for instance). A few safety issues (curling area rugs). There were some glasses left in the dishwasher, and towels in the dryer from previous users of the house. None of these issues would deter us from renting the property...

"We had the upstairs apartment in the back of the main house. It was very clean and comfortable.very easy check in and out with the homeowner It has a beautiful courtyard with plenty of outdoor space for a quiet night just sitting around with friends. Very close to the beach and the boardwalk and some really nice restaurants. Would highly recommend this place to family and friends or even another long weekend trip."
