“The room was great -- clean and spacious. The yoga classes and meals were awesome. I went solo and met a lot of great people, we ended up putting together a group that ate meals together and took a couple of trips together outside of the property. The only real friction point was commuting between the room (some of the rooms are deeper into the property) and the restaurant/sauna area. You can walk the steep road, take a 20 minute trail (which is beautiful), or wait for the shuttle. Not a……

“This place is heavenly. If you’re looking for some peace, serenity and breathtaking views… this is the place! I had an incredible view of the lake and volcano from my room. Pool and hot tub were nice. Calm crowd. The complimentary hot breakfast was also yummy. Drive to downtown La Fortuna is about 30 minutes and not bad at all. ”

“We loved this property. Beautiful views. Check-in was easy and quick. Property manager was very responsive. Reason for not 5 stars is, no cleaning of room while we were there, 3 nights. Place was beautiful though. Would stay again and price was reasonable.”

“Truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment of arrival to my departure, everything was exceptional. The property is quite large and although it did feel at times overwhelming, once you’ve gotten the hang of the property, it became easy. I certainly recommend staying long than two-nights so that you can take advantage of all the fantastic amenities and offerings. The surrounding trees and volcano views are stunning, they were as beautifull at night when everything is beautifully lit. The food was exceptional, the service friendly, and the pool area clean and relaxing with great drinks. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting La Fortuna.”
