I want to make it clear that my rating has nothing to do with the staff & location of the resort- both were wonderful. However, when booking an adults only, the expectation is that it is adults only. Unfortunately, most of the amenities were on the attached family resort. For example: Swim up bar- family pool Dj & dancers - family pool A la cate dinners & buffet- family resort Smoking area- family pool Glow stick party at nignt- family resort Foam party- family pool Beach DJ party- family side Another issue I noticed was that my wifi didnt work in my room unless by the window and didnt work at the beach. Im not saying that the family side shouldnt have those things, I am just mentioning these things so folks who are expecting adults only, understand that isnt the case and I am just speaking from my experience and expectation. The location was lovely, the beachfront was amazing, the staff and food were great, it was clean and the lunch buffet poolside was definitely a plus!

My Ocean View room was Perfect. The room decoration was elegant and had 5 lighting options to match the mood. The Hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Several staff remembered my wife and i from our previous trip, which speaks to the attention they pay to the guests. I will be returning and would recommend the Royal Solaris Caribe to everyone.

Al llegar al hotel la habitación que había reservado no estaba disponible pero el personal fue muy atento y nos dieron una mejor frente al mar con alberca,,estuvimos muy complacidos y agradecidos,,la limpieza del hotel en general es muy buena la habitación también estaba impecable,,solo le faltaría mejorar en la variedad de la comida y el snack bar que no habían muchas opciones,pero en general un lugar muy lindo para descansar y relajarse .

We loved Caribe. The pool & beach were fantastic. Lots of towels and very pleasant service all day long. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight. Luz the hostess was a bright refreshing encounter every day. Her teammates Adrain Alfredo Jesus and Ricardo all at cafe Solaris kept the coffee flowing in style. Lu the manager was always present . Interacting with all the guests and ever ready to volunteer any iinformation one may need . I particularly appreciated that Lu recommended and made reservations for dinner almost . We took her advice and enjoyed each place that she recommended. Honestly I would have no hesitation to recommend caribe. Rooms were very clean prompt housekeeping lots of towels and bottled water. I can’t wait to go back.

Very nice hotel, excellent experience, the food was good. The asian restaurant was the best with the best customer service. My only 2 complaints, staff was calling to my room at 8am for some reason, when you are on vacation i want to rest, not waking up early. And the most important thing for me was the lack of real Mexican Music in the hotel, No Mariachis and not showing the rich Mexican culture that i was expecting. Other than that i will recommend and i will come back soon to this hotel.

The resort and room are very clean. The service could be better, don't expect to be brought food while lounging at the beach. DO NOT book on the Lagoon side, you will hear the highway all night - this happened to us and luckily they found us another room that was quiet. The food is ok, it will sometimes taste better than it looks! Guest services and the servers at the restaurant are great. If you have to eat at the buffet, avoid anything at the height of children, they touch it all! We stayed on the adults only side which was peaceful, not a party, lots of ppl 60+ and a very chill vibe. The proximity to the beach is lovely. Room and bed are quiet comfy.

Food was really, and I mean REALLY disappointing. They also told us there was a free promotion going on for their anniversary where they would take us on a trip. We show up and were subjected to a FOUR HOUR sales presentation for their time share... we had to tell literally five different people NO. We are NOT interested. They were hounding us. Terrible experience. Never returning. Couldn't pay me.

The grounds, rooms, pool, etc, was all very nice and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and polite, thank you Luany & Sam at reception for the upgrade. The resort is very very chill and quiet. If you are looking to party or be up late, this is absolutely not the resort for you. We just wanted to relax, read and hangout and the vibe & other guests at the resort were all on the same page which we really appreciated. Our biggest gripe was that the loungers at the pool were all reserved so early in the morning. Being a chill adults only resort, the older folk would put their books or towels on the loungers to reserve them for the day. Every morning regardless of when we went for breakfast, every lounger was reserved by guests who woke up extremely early to put their stuff on a lounger. We had our own private plunge pool overlooking the ocean, so it wasn’t a huge deal for us specifically, but I can imagine the frustration of other guests who did not have their own private pool. The beach was excellent as expected for this area. Plenty of available beach loungers, water was good, sand was soft, not rocky. Highly recommend the rooms with their own private pool overlooking the ocean. You had immediate access to the beach and main pool, main bar, and the waiters/waitresses came to your pool regularly to take drink orders so you didn’t have to go to the bar. Food was mediocre overall. The best we found was the Mexican restaurant at the neighbouring resort GR Solaris.

Is hotel only caters to members, they will make sure to let you know that special in order a drink. My husband ordered a Cadillac margarita on our first day of arriving and they said the grand Manor is only for members so he just got a regular margarita, which was not that great the margarita taste like lemonade with a lot of sugar added. On our second day we try to go have breakfast at the restaurant by the ocean, but we’re told that it’s only serving the CEOs. So we ended up at the buffet that is in the next hotel that has children. The buffet that is for adults only is very small with not that many options and the food overall is not great at all. We ordered room service and after an hour I decide to call the front desk and Dolores told me they sent the food to the wrong room. My husband was upset so we decided to go eat at the main buffet upon arrival we were told there was a dress code and my husband could not enter with sleeveless shirt. I asked the manager, Gabriella approached us and was very nice and told us she would personally deliver who that drinks to our room, I would never go to this hotel again because they only cater to members.!!!

The room location was amazing. On a corner away from traffic. The amenities were immaculate and pampered us for 5 days. The staff took care of all our needs. We will definitely come back!
