“Super clean room, sheets and towels were all super white. Beautiful pool and gym. Restaurant on site had good food and drinks. Coco Bongo and bravo grocery store were right across the street. Excellent customer service. Definitely recommend and I will be returning. ”

“Property is inside an apartment complex very hard to find. The person with the key doesn't answer the phone. The property is clean however the uber service doesnt pick people inside that complex you need to walk about 3 blocks to the main street mind you 1 block is in constructions right in front of this place you have to walk over rocks and dust with your luggage. Terrible experience ”

“We had 2 rooms- the one-bed room was great. The 3 room suite smelled musty. They ended up moving us to a different room and it was much better. The service was great- they try their best to make your stay good. Food and bars were good. The beach does not have a great swimming area but the beach itself is nice. We did not leave the resort or buy any trips although there are plenty of people that want to sell you trips.”

“The Barcelo is amazing & beautiful, well manicured on picturesque Bavaro beach! All the amenities you want. The staff are all very friendly; but I suggest you brush up on your Spanish, as most don’t speak english fluently. All the food we had in the multiple restaurants and buffets was very good. The drinks were great; not watered down. There’s room for improvement on cleanliness (sand in the pools, and empty cups laying around; but not terrible. Rooms were in good shape, bed was very……

“I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a nice, semi-gated community. One of the best parts is that there’s a shopping plaza just a 3-minute walk away, and there’s a strong security presence in the area—even after the stores close. That made me feel extra safe. The local culture and food options nearby were a big plus too—definitely gave it that authentic vibe I was looking for. Only downside: I paid for a late check-out, but they still locked the door early……
