「Had a very nice stay! Room was clean and didn’t smell like anything at all 🙂 It had just what we needed for our few day stay. The owner was very kind and helpful. He even made some calls and switched some things around for us so we could add a night. Would definitely stay here again.」

「We had a great experience at the Stay Inn Ely. It was clean and our room was nice. It’s conveniently close to down town Ely and has easy access parking. The kitchen was well equipped and had coffee to make every morning. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it!」

「Eat at the restaurant at the hotel. It was the best. I’ll never have better north woods biscuits and gravy. Chicken tenders, burgers, fries, ribs, chicken parm were also all so good. It was great.」

「We rented a room with 2 double beds. They were the smallest double beds I’ve ever come across. In the future, I’ll for sure go for a King sized bed! Location near a walking / biking trail is great! Also enjoyed the outdoor seating area overlooking the road.」

「Quiet and cozy condos tucked up on the ridge along Lake Superior and the Poplar River. I loved how quiet and still the property was! Even with many of the condos full, there was little noise and I barely noticed others were even there! I also appreciate having a place I can bring my dogs to stay while I'm on vacation. It was truly relaxing and enjoyable. The check-in and check-out process was simple and I had everything I needed for my stay.」

「The view was fantastic」

「The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps...
