1. CASAS DO LARANJO- Cottages Infinity Pool by brugrani

Santa Cruz

"The house itself was beautiful and the host along with the housekeeper were very responsive. The pool was not heated as indicated in description. We enjoyed freshly baked bread the host provided during our stay. The bathroom sometimes had a sewer smell and required us to open and air the house out. They will be correcting the plumbing issue that resulted in fresh water flow from the toilet during our stay. They were very responsive in the clean up. "

The Cliff Bay, by PortoBay

8/10 Good

"Great hotel. It is expensive but it is in an excellent location. Amazing pool and really good breakfast. The happy hour is excellent at the cliff bay bar."

Baía Madeira Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great stay and love the location!"

Reid's Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Madeira

10/10 Excellent

"Reid’s is a beautiful property with multiple pools and diving access to the ocean. Our stay involved changing rooms ( not the hotels fault), and not all rooms are the same. The first room had a walk in shower but the second room had a very slippery tub shower. There was construction going on during our stay that made for noisy afternoons. The food was really good and there are multiple restaurants, however, I would reserve a table in advance of your stay to guarantee your spot at dinner. The service was exceptional."
