“Great place”

“What a wonderful experience! We only stayed for one night, but we wish it could have been longer. Communication was great and always prompt and detailed. Our hosts were just lovely and friendly! The home was like staying in a tree house. I loved the deck and fire pit. We stayed out there listening to the rain until we couldn’t keep our eyes open. Our kids slept like logs and our bed was so comfortable. The best night sleep I’ve had on our trip. The home had everything we needed and then some. I……

Instructions on checking in was very clear and he notified us when Kīlauea was erupting. Location was convenient to the park and easy drive to and from Hilo. Would love to stay here again.”

“This place is a great - hosts are amazing people. They are intelligent, passionate, flexible, and friendly. Sunsrise view is great. Incredibly safe environment. You really feel like you have a degree of quiet separation from the bustle of Hilo that is only a short drive away. So best of both worlds. The tradeoff is that the village access does require a short drive on unpaved roads. So prepare mentally that this is a slightly more secluded location. You get a simple but thoughtfully……
