"We were a large group of 8 people. This is a small two story, narrow place with a third lower height attic/loft. The place was fairly clean but the first night we heard a critter in the walls, probably a mouse or rat. We heard it is common in older houses to have that issue but it did throw us off. There are no separate rooms or doors to close. It’s basically dormitory style. It was fine for what we needed but wouldn’t be our preference and we will not be staying here again."

"Would stay in this place again with a big group as it has 3 bedrooms and all amenities you could want. Only caution is the steps leading up and down as it has no handrails and is steep. It also has only 1 sink for all to use- if you don’t mind that, well worth staying here!"

"Great little hideaway for our trip to Tokyo. Convenient location, easy to get around but away from the craziness of the city which was nice. Only downside was the beds are small."

"My family of 4 stayed 3 nights. Everything was excellent. The location was perfect. Plenty of amenities. Loved the shower and heated floors/toilets. The only reason check in wasn't ranked #5 was the need to use an app to open the front door initially. If my phone had better data service or I had the wifi password for the house beforehand I imagine there wouldn't have been a delay in getting inside the house. We would definitely stay here again next time and highly recommend it for families."

"This was tucked away, but very close to everything we needed! The rooms were small, but that was expected, we had enough room to do everything we needed to do and were within walking distance of everything we wanted to be close to! What a great stay highly recommend this place!"

"This place is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is located near a main transportation hub so you can easily make it to anywhere in the city. There are plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. It’s three stories with steps so keep that in mind if you have mobility problems. "Our family of two adults and one child called this property home upon our arrival into Tokyo and couldn't have asked for a better location. It's easy walking distance to several subway stops, the Shibuya area, and a number of local coffee places, restaurants, and shops. It was easy to find, easy to check in to, communication was great, and the personalized note and water/snacks waiting for us was a nice touch. "Very small, very steep stairway. Okay position. Near Opera; one stop from Shinjuku Station; only one sink i.e. the kitchen, washing machine but no dryer. Had a decibel metre in the house checking for noise. All manageable but then got a note to say that we had 'stained' the pillow case. Got sent pictures and a bill for extra cleaning. As far as I can tell, it was some mascara off my make-up which should come out in a wash and, given they're white sheets, a bleach. Thank heavens we hadn't...
