Lake Shirakaba Hotels

"We were made to feel so welcome here and would love to stay again. The hosts were wonderful, so friendly and made this an unforgettable stay in an incredibly beautiful location. Would highly recommend!"

"It was a nice Japanes experience with the futon on the floor. Only two points negative. There was no towels for the shower unless you rented it for 200 yen. Breakfast was only croissants with coffee, juice, butter and jam. "

"部屋は悪くない、必要条件は揃っている バフェスタイルの食事は少し残念かな (一品くらいはちゃんと料理された地元の名産品が欲しい)"

"The owner who was only the other person there was very kind and drove me up to the bus stop with my heavy luggage in very snowy, icy conditions, beautiful views, winter wonderland of snow and ice. incredible views."

"Just a great hotel with a nice onsen"

"Cabin is nice and clean, comes with well and full equipped kitchen. Easy check-in with email sent by 1500hrs sharp. As it is winter during our visit, many shops and restaurants weren’t open for business. So getting food from restaurants was almost impossible. But overall we had a good time chilling in the cabin, overlooking Lake Shirakaba. "

"Room, staff and food are exceptional. "

"We had a wonderful time staying at the hotel. Hotel provided excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner, free welcome drink. The hot bath was wonderful with views of the river and forest. The room was beautifully decorated. We will definitely want to come back again next year!"

"Peaceful retreat with access to great natural beauty."

"A difficult place to find but we’ll located. Close to the lake and station. A traditional Japanese hotel well presented with helpful staff. We forwarded our cases to the hotel and on arrival we checked in and were escorted to our room where our cases stained us an a member of staff showed us round and explained everything to us."

"Close to highway and many good restaurants nearby"

"The accommodation offers many activities, this place perfect for a family vacation."

"It's a very comfortable facility, although the hotel looks old. "

"The staff was very helpful, I could leave my luggage at reception and they took it up to my room so it was ready for me when I checked in. There are four different baths public baths: main bath;outdoor bath, and two smaller ones which had different herbs in them. Breakfast was also very good. Location is convenient for the train station and the lake. Overall enjoyable stay."

"Standard business hotel, simple and not expensive."

"Clean room, helpful staff excellent breakfast "

"蓼科湖を眺めながらの美味しい朝食が最高でした。"

"Average hotel with good staff but very overpriced for what it offers."
