「The room was lovely and clean. Nice touch to have a coffee machine with pods. Still and sparkling water in the mini fridge. And a couple of packets of biscuit. The food in the evening was really good and the breakfast was amazing. 」

「The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told...」

「Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend.」

「I was warmly welcomed to this B&B. It is a beautiful house set in extensive grounds. From my window I had lovely views of the garden and beyond. The room was beautifully decorated and the bedding was soft and comfortable. With the warmth of the welcome and the excellent breakfast I would agree this is an excellent 4* and worthy of its great reviews.」

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice along with prompt, attentive & polite service. The railway station & city centre shops, bars & restaurants are a short stroll away. An enjoyable stay. 」
