“A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend ”

“The property was perfect for us, with open plan living and a bedroom and bathroom downstairs for my elderly mother.We loved having the garden to sit out in an evening.”

“My daughter’s , grandchildren and I stayed at Morton House for 2 nights whilst visiting the Polar Express (15 minutes drive away). The house was large , warm and welcoming. Children had a ball chasing each other around . Beds are extremely comfortable with quality bedding . Everyone slept very well . Perfect location , visited local churches and park , walked by the river .. Communication from host,, Michelle, was excellent. she even downloaded Polar Exoress film on Sky so the kids could watch……

“Staff are amazing, very friendly and always happy to help with anything. The food was fantastic, and the pub was very cozy. The room was clean and comfortable, spacious and overall pleasant, we had a beautiful view out the window. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. Thank you. ”
