「Lovely staff and cozy ambience. Our room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was all homemade and delicious! Enjoyed the fireplaces and musicians in the pub at night. Beautiful setting with the front porches, and lots of places to unwind. 」

「Our stay was amazing! The cottage was so clean and the staff friendly . We stayed in a large studio which was just perfect for us and our dog. I would definitely recommend Prince of Whales and will be back again!」

「Charming vintage roadside motel! Clean and comfortable with original features like gingham cloth wallpaper and cool pine chairs. This is not a greige corporate chain place! Staff were all really nice, shower was hot with good water pressure. The restaurant had good food and friendly service. A pleasant stop in Williamstown! 」

「I would 100% come back to this place. Our suite was absolutely amazing, and very clean. It is spacious, has a very big and cool shower, has great ac and giant tv, plenty of light, has a safe, and the biggest, most comfortable bed I have ever laid on. The pillows aren’t as comfortable as the bed, and the breakfast is very limited, but there is plenty of breakfast/brunch places in walking distance, so it was not a big deal. Also, you may have to pay for parking! But, I 1000% recommend staying...

「I really liked Red Lion, i liked the old inn style and the room was clean, bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing, and the people were very friendly and accomodating. I liked the box breakfast (we had yogurt, OJ, and a muffin with coffee in the room) but if you are looking for a full breakfast you will have to go somewhere else to eat. I would totally recommend this Inn.」

「Super quaint, peaceful, idyllic, historic Inn! Awesome location right in the middle of the Marblehead Historic District. We walked less than 5 min to dinner at The Landing and then to drinks at Maddie’s Sail Loft. Highly recommend! 」

「The Silsbee Suite was lovely! Its def just for 1 or 2 ppl even though the kitchen is huge there is only 1 queen bed and a couch. You also habe acess to your own private patio but we were out all day and didnt really utilize that. This property is in walkimg distance to everything you need to get to and see in Salem. It is an old house and you can hear EVERYTHING! Even the other guests if they sneeze or laugh so just be aware of that. I would def stay again 」

「Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! Note, The Old Inn is almost 2 miles from the delicious breakfast spot and about a 16 minute drive to Great Barrington, which is the closest town. There is no lobby or front desk (or tv or coffee maker, etc in room) as one would...

「Our host was available for all questions and needs, as well as good local information. We enjoyed the fire on a snowy weekend. We hope to return soon to enjoy all of what the property offers. 」

「More like a B&B than a hotel, only 5 rooms. Owner Patrick met us at the door, expecting our arrival and was quick to help with bags or with a restaurant recommendation. Stayed in room #1 which was huge, with a very comfortable king size bed. Place is old (1774) so floors are uneven, staircase steep and narrow but bathroom while dated is sufficient and shower is strong with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay there again. 」

"I haven't used anything since checking in. The bathtub is clogged and infested with mosquitoes. The windowsills and tables in the room are dusty, as if no one has stayed and hasn't cleaned them in ages. The refrigerator also doesn't work. After reporting the situation, we were told we would get a full refund. However, a month has passed and I haven't received one. I contacted the hotel, and they said they'd already processed the refund and told me to check with my bank. I went to the bank and asked the manager to check, but they also said there was no refund. I think this hotel is deceptive. If I had a five-star review, I wouldn't give it a single star. It's terrible. If there was a complaint number, I would definitely file a complaint with this hotel, not just the Hilton. It's worse than an average hotel. It's ridiculous."
