"Overall, I really enjoyed our stay at Bentley's. Location is perfect. It's downtown, there is free parking out back, and the restaurant and bar is great. The people at the desk also work the bar, and they're very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms have deadbolts, not cards, so you get a key to your room. The room we had was absolutely pristine--no dust, carpet stains, bad smells, or anything else, nicely decorated and equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware and glasses, coffee and tea, plus dish soap and cloths to wash up. The TV has plenty of channels, both Canadian and US, and wifi is available. There are plenty of places to hang up things or put them in a dresser. Our room had lots of space, with two extra twin beds upstairs, so a family or group of 4 would not be crowded, except for one toilet.
A couple of drawbacks about the room. Our room had no windows. There is a skylight that keeps the room light during the day, but there is also no way to block incoming light at night, and the skylight is partially above the bed. Bring an eye mask if night light bothers you. I forgot mine. Also, if you don't do well with stairs, the rooms at Bentley's may not suit you, as they are all upstairs, above the bar and restaurant, and there is no elevator. Also, our room had only an upstairs bathroom, which was also a challenge, especially at night. The bathroom has a nice, new shower and plenty of hot water, as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap, however."
