"This was one of the nicest rooms we’ve ever had! Gorgeous decor, very large, dinette and couch and chairs, balcony too! The only cons are road noise and it’s next door to a gas station. "

The ping pong table was a big hit with my teenagers, and there was plenty of space in the rest of the home for all of us to spread out. 5 minute walk to a convenience store for any items that you may have forgotten at home. 15 min walk to a beautiful beach trail. Would definitely stay again. "

"Everything was spotlessly clean, the mattresses were nice and firm, there were plenty of towels and blankets. Neighbors were extremely nice, and very helpful when we had questions. Far enough outside the city to be peaceful but close enough for an Uber. Walking distance to several restaurants at the Montará State Park, which was wonderful. Recommended."

"Beautiful modern home. A short walk across the street and you have beautiful cliff views of the ocean and a walking path. Very comfortable accommodations, well stocked kitchen/bathrooms, very clean, and the host was very responsive. Easy check in and check out. Very close to San Francisco for easy day trips into city, but it was nice to stay in a quiet safer neighborhood. Would stay here again if in the area! The 3 bedrooms worked great for our family trip of 6 people. "

"Our trip wasn't great - though some of the issues we experienced were beyond the property owner's control.When we arrived, there was no power - a city issue with a transformer had to be repaired, which took a couple of hours. This wasn't too bad - the larger inconvenience was that the repair trucks blocked the road to the house, so we had to walk a bit to get there.The house also had ants all over the kitchen - which was pretty gross. The maintenance team came out and cleaned and sprayed, but that didn't do much.You absolutely cannot beat the views this house offers - the writing nook is really nice, and the deck has great sight lines to the beach and water.But really, my biggest complaint is that the house just felt....dirty. There were spiderwebs all over the inside and outside. The floor hadn't been swept, so there was sand in a lot of the rooms. The silverware hadn't been washed, like one of the knives still had the label on it and (I think?) peanut butter. A lot of the dishes and glasses were not the cleanest looking.There was no extra toilet paper (we bought some and left it for the next person). The property owner provided two towels and one wash cloth per couple. Just little things like that really detracted from the experience.The owners did provide a refund for one night due to the inconvenience of everything, which was definitely appreciated. I would give the house two stars based on the views and location, but I don't think I would ever go back."
