"Nice place to stay in the area. Only negative was the wall mounted soap and shampoo dispensers. They required multiple pumps to get a useable amount of soap. Ended up using a bar of soap I had packed to shower."

"I’ve been patiently waiting for the Holiday Inn in Oscoda to open. The room, pool, and breakfast couldn’t have been any nicer. The employees was very helpfully and willing to make the stay worth the trip. The scenery of Lake Huron in the morning was gorgeous. I wasn’t a bit disappointed. Thank You for such great hospitality. "The beach was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was ok. Nothing special, but adequate. The area was quiet and peaceful. I guess they are renovating, because all the old furniture was in the hallways everywhere. The property needs some renovation and cleaning. Overall i would rate it 6 out of 10. For what we were given I would have expected a lower price. "

"We very much enjoyed the home like feel of the property. It was more enjoyable than a motel room. Way more relaxing than a motel/hotel. Hot water tank is a little small for 4 people, but easily fixed with some thought on how to share the shower time. "
