"The royal oak train station is really close which was very convenient for getting around the city. Its in a great location. The room was smaller than expected but thats London. Room was clean and bed was nice. TV has netflix. Would stay there again. Thanks for having us. "

"We had a twin room with really comfy beds. The air conditioning worked really well and was quiet which often isn't the case. There were free bottles of water provided in the room and biscuits for our tea/coffee. The bathroom was clean and of good quality, nice hot water in the shower and good lighting. For the price we paid I wasn't expecting such quality so felt it was excellent value for money in this location. The only problem we had on arriving at our 4th floor room was that the key card didn't work so had to go back to reception, however they were apologetic and sorted it out for us. "

"Our stay at the Notting Hill Gate Hotel was great.The location was excellent.- especially when needing to get to Heathrow during strike action which closed all underground stations. Although we didn't have a window we could look out nor open, we had an A/C unit which kept the room comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was wonderful. They also provided us with fresh towels every day which was unexpected but appreciated. I would definitely stay here again on another visit."

"Sarah at the front desk was professional and personable. She was knowledgeable and helpful along with the other front desk staff as well. The room was cozy. As there is no AC the fan probably could've worked a bit better. I will definitely stay again when I am in London. Oh, and the tub fixtures were really cool! "

"This Hotel was in a great location to the Tube and it was also very walkable through Kensington Park. The room was very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good. We had a daily cleaning service for our room. I would highly recommend The Phoenix Hotel for a stay in London. "
