"Hotel has great potential, but is very poorly managed. This is a very expensive hotel and does not provide a service in line with what is charged.
The beach is gourgeous, but full with plastic waste that comes from the sea. All neighboring hotels and restaurants clean their beaches, this one does not.
Additionally, the hotel charges disproportionate prices on everything: transfer from Cancun airport is 3x more than what we paid, a meal is 2x more than any restaurant in the village, a tour to...

"Sargassum is really bad, beware, but nothing the hotel can do about it. Bathroom walls could use some scrubbing, but it's and industrial/rustic vibe to it. Check in was fairly easy - we didn't do breakfast every morning, but pretty sure we were charged for it, regardless. Breakfast is not on premise - it's at another hotel and has a few options, but you can only pick one, not a breakfast bar or buffet, but a small plate. More like a breakfast snack. You'll definitely need to seek lunch out."
"I stayed in this hotel for 7 days.
The room and setting were good and the customer service was excellent, they always answered my questions and helped me when I needed it, room service always answered right away and the food was in my room in minutes. They assisted with every question about recommendations and hotel amenities.
There’s a couple things that I would like to highlight, a hold of $150 for each day of your stay is made on your card which was not disclosed anywhere before we arrived.
All the snacks/ drinks in the room are kind of pricey and not included in your stay which is kind of crazy since the price of the stay is already high.
We had plenty of raccoons visiting, the only issue is that they peed in the pool and were getting inside, we also found a bat, we took it out so it wouldn’t drawn. But I would not recommend getting a room with pool if your skin is sensitive.
The water went out almost every day at certain point of the day and came back after a while.
The light also went out a couple times during different days.
Internet connection is not the best but not the worst.
The hotel food is pricey and is not very good.
The location is a little bit far from everything about 30 min from the main restaurant/ bar locations.
But I do got to say that the room was always clean, they come clean your room twice a day and they are super friendly!
The staff from the massage area are also super nice and sweet people and the massages were amazing.
We had the best sleep."
"It’s a spectacular family friendly hotel in the heart of Tulum. Tulum doesn’t have big all inclusive resorts so the little extras at La Zebra make it special. A terrific restaurant over looking the water, a basic mini golf course on the roof kept my son entertained, a small pool to refresh in and multiple beach side bars with great waiter service made relaxing at the beach the best. Beautiful room with small plunge pool to unwind each afternoon. Finally in a quiet area but literally steps from Michelin restaurants, a special place that I highly recommend for couples and families."
"We stayed here for 4 nights during my friend's bachelor trip, and it was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the atmosphere. Our group of 10 girls had such a fun and memorable time. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and every corner feels like a little slice of paradise. One of the highlights was our rooms being right on the beach!!! Waking up to the ocean views every morning was unbeatable, and having easy access to the beach made the entire stay feel extra special. We felt incredibly safe and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back."
"Can’t say enough great things about the Delek. My second time there and will be booking it again in another 3 months. Amazing and friendly staff, very clean room, amazing food and drinks, and surrounded by top notch restaurants and shopping."
"Best experience, I had an amazing room, the guy at the front desk gave me a better room wen I didnt like my first room .. honestly this place is a dream tree house love the bath tubs, loved everything about tulum including this place"
"This was an exceptional place to stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Their hospitality was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The views were absolutely stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The food and drinks were excellent, making it easy to enjoy a great meal on-site when we didn’t feel like venturing into town. For those who do want to explore, the location is ideal—there are numerous shops, restaurants, and conveniences just a short five-minute walk away.
One of the highlights of our stay was the romantic dinner I arranged for my wife and me. The staff did a phenomenal job with every detail, creating a beautiful and intimate experience that exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, and it became one of our favorite memories from the trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful location, outstanding service, and a truly memorable stay."
