This was my first experience in a SD cottage. It wasn’t as tricky as I thought. The hosts were very communicative when I had questions or when asking for another nights stay. Although I didn’t realize the unit did not have AC, the ventilation system worked well on those days I stayed. In my personal opinion, it was worth the price I paid to have a safe place to keep my pups and a comfortable place to sleep. I do feel however that the photos advertised need to be up dated, the bedroom and living space has changed some furniture.

Great proximity to City, but loud & not very breezy
The location is ~5-15 min away from a lot of wonderful things, but one major issue for us was the humidity/ heat and lack of air ventilation in the unit. Because there is no A/C, we had to open every window to try to cool down, which meant it was super loud w the planes & pedestrians outside. The house is a little older, the description was accurate about ants but I loved the private front yard as did my pup. Kinda small, but great for a short stay.
