"I love this hotel. My room was spacious and had a great skyline view of Milwaukee. The valet parking app is super convenient and speedy. The staff was great with special shout-out to Courtney in valet and Shy at the front desk. I didn’t get to try the Yard at night but it looked rocking. The location is super close to the ever trendy Third Ward and a host of attractions (ie National Bobblehead Museum anyone?). I’ll be back!"

"Friendly front desk staff. Pool was not available due to maintenance, and we didn’t stay long enough to try breakfast as we had an early flight and it didn’t start til 6:30am. Otherwise there were basic amenities & a fairly clean room (sheets on one bed left a little to be desired and the carpets seemed older/worn in several areas). Overall, a “good” stay for a property within 5 minutes of MKE Airport, but I wouldn’t stay longer than one night."

"Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience with check in as the front desk staff told us the incorrect entrance to unload our luggage. Other than that, the staff were pleasant and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. We had a loft suite which was plenty of room for our family of 4. The only issue was that the air conditioner was not able to cool the upstairs bedroom. It was very convenient to have a kitchen in the suite as we were able to have breakfast before we set out for the day. This hotel is within walking distance to Downtown Lake Geneva and many restaurants and fast food places. A Walmart and Aldi were less than 10 minutes drive. Would definitely return here!"

Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark

"We recently stayed at Timber Ridge Lodge and overall there were definitely some things we really enjoyed, along with a few areas that could use improvement. One thing I really appreciated was having a full-size refrigerator and an electric stovetop in the room. The kitchen was also stocked with silverware, plates, cups, and even pots for cooking. We brought food with us for the kids, so having an actual kitchen setup instead of just a mini fridge was extremely convenient for our family. The room itself was a good size, but it could definitely use some updating and a deeper cleaning in certain areas. The kitchen sink had quite a bit of limescale buildup. The whirlpool/jacuzzi-style tub was another concern. There appeared to be mold or mildew buildup around some of the jet openings, and the drains looked like they could use a really thorough scrub. The pull-out couch turns into a queen-size bed, which sounded great in theory, but unfortunately it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. I slept on it the first night and my husband slept on it the second night, and we both had the same experience. If you’re planning on using the sofa bed for an adult, I would definitely keep that in mind. On the positive side, the waterpark was great! The kids really enjoyed it, and that was definitely one of the highlights of our stay."

"It was disappointed to find out we had to pay an extra $120 for the water park. The photo of the booking is the water park but the property booked it’s extra at the resort. That was deceiving"
