  • #Shinjuku #Tokyo #Japan #alley The famous piss alley or Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku, Tokyo. By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

We thought it was a 2b, via photos. However, the place was extremely clean and very good location wise. There were lots of very steep stairs not pictured, which was fine for us but I could see being a problem for other tourists if challenged physically. Overall good stay.

Sweet little place in Toyko

We loved out stay here. It was clean and had all of the essentials for us. Big bathroom(which is rare), private entrance, kitchen utensils, lots of clean towels, etc. We absolutely adored the private balcony and used it every day during our stay here. It was super close to the metro/public transit. It was also just so fun to walk around that area. The host was super responsive and available to meet our needs at any time. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Toyko!

Nice Stay in Shinjuku City

Our large group of eight stayed in 1F and 2F, the review is the same for each accommodation at the Orion Resort. The rooms were exactly what we needed for our short stay in Tokyo. The rooms had everything you would expect from an excellent VRBO property. We easily found our way around the neighborhood and Tokyo. Everything you need is a few footsteps or a short train or bus ride away. The rooms were well appointed with excellent amenities. For older folks, note both rooms have stairs especially 2F.

We had a great experience and the location was great. Koreatown is vibrant with great restaurants and bars and close to trains to explore Tokyo.
