“Lovely old hotel offering value for money a good breakfast and parking.”

“Hotel is very dated, carpets in corridors smelt bad, needs a good hoover, bathroom needs a refresh, bath rusty, very old tv,didn't get a wink of sleep as could hear water running,I won't be staying again unfortunately”

“This was our 4th visit and we loved it.”

“The sea view room was great! Would recommend. Breakfast is an amazing selection! Staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s approx 15-20 scenic min walk into centre of Torquay.”

“The staff were all very polite, helpful, and friendly.”

“Staff were lovely, location is gorgeous, rooms very outdated and in general the flow of constant tour buses full of elderly travelers made me feel like I was staying in a nursing home. Staff very rigid about breakfast timing and use of breakfast room not alllowed after 10:00am so if you are not an early riser, take note. Lift was also broken for full 4 nights of our stay and we were on the 3rd floor.”

“Fantastic hotel. Amazing facilities and i had a really good breakfast. Very happy thanks 😁”

“Brilliant hotel with many things to keep the family entertained. Great breakfast. Room could do with some updating but location brilliant too. Would definitely stay again.”

“Would have been nice to have a nicer place to sit out side other the bench tables not suitable for people with disabilities”

“Friendly staff.”

“The staff are very helpful, and polite, nothing is too much trouble the hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable, rooms cleaned daily it was all very good couldn't fault anything”

“•no lift to rooms •breakfast wasn’t very nice •bad evening meal selection and you’re tied into a set 3 course meal •no entertainment •showers that scream at you •steps to use the bathroom in rooms •no working wifi for tv and signal poor in general •fire alarms going off at early hours in the morning for a long amount of time for no reason. *rubbish left in our room when arrived. •no real double bed, two singles pushed together. •towels provided are tiny. •duty manager let himself into our room……

“The staff were faultless”

“We only booked one night as we were attending a show at the Princess theatre...kind of glad as our room was sadly in need of maintainence and cleaning.”
