“Shante, the host, was very nice and easy to work with, and she made a genuine effort to address our needs. The property itself is beautiful, very well maintained, secluded, and mostly private. The manor is well appointed. However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. There was an ongoing ant problem in the kitchen and the main bedroom’s en suite bathroom. We had to be very careful, as any food left out would quickly be overrun with ants, which became frustrating.Nighttime……

“I would go back again and stay longer, the community were very pleasant and friendly, close to the hiking, rivers and private beaches.”

“I truly enjoyed my time at Mandala Springs Wellness Retreat Center. The environment is peaceful, quiet, and deeply relaxing—perfect for anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with themselves. The surrounding hiking trails are absolutely beautiful, with scenic views everywhere you go. It’s a wonderful place for meditation, reflection, and simply being present in nature. If you’re looking to step away from the noise of daily life and find a sense of calm, this is a perfect retreat. I left……

“The Tipsy Turtle was everything we were looking for during our vacation. We loved that it was within walking distance of downtown, including restaurants, shops, and galleries. Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is just down the road and is absolutely awe-inspiring.The property itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do. It was the perfect home base for exploring the area while also providing a relaxing place to unwind at the end of each……

“At 4am the tenant from the connected house(which we didn't know about) was blaring on her hornin the road out front yelling to move out vehicles. She threatened to tow our vehicles and block us in. The night before, I tried to contact the host to find out where we were supposed to park. And he never got back to us. There was hair on the wall and the bathroom and one of the coffee cups and drinking glass had grime and coffee all over it. The blanket that was draped over the back of the couch……

“Nice place, great location, had everything we needed. Helpful and prompt communication by the host. This was a great base for exploring the area.”

“Cozy, rustic, and with all great amenities.”

“Very unique and charming property. Definitely felt like being in a tree house in the redwoods. We spent most of our time when there sitting on the deck. It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do - drive to the coast, hike at the state park, and visit nearby restaurants and wineries.”

“Sue is an amazing host. Just the getaway my husband and I needed.”
